WHAT IS MY PURPOSE IN LIFE?

Life becomes more meaningful when you know your purpose.

Focus on a hammer. It is composed of nails to be stuck. To do this, it was made. Now imagine that this hammer has never been used. This is just lying in boxes of tools. The hammer does not care about it.
But imagine now that this hammer has its own soul, self-awareness. Days are spent in this tool box. Now the hammer starts feeling weird inside, but he can not understand why? Looks like there is some lack, but she is not aware what she is?
Then one day someone takes him out of the box and uses it to break the branches of some tree, so that the fire can burn in the stove or fireplace. The hammer happily goes crazy He was caught, power was imposed and strikes on the branches - Hammer liked it very much. But at the end of the day, he still feels incomplete. He found pleasure in striking the branches, but it was not enough. There is still some shortage.
It has been used several times in the days ahead. He created a new structure of many things, broke the wall, knocked the founder of a chair and put it in his place. Yet he is feeling incomplete. So he wants to do more and more work. He wants to use it as much as possible to strike things, to break them, to explode, to blast them. He thinks that so much work is not enough to satisfy him. He believes that by doing so much of all these work he will fulfill that lack, and this will be the reason for his satisfaction.
Then one day someone used it on the nail. Suddenly, the light of that hammer became shining. Now he understood what exactly he was made to do the job. His main work was 'knocking the nails' . All the things that he has struck so far, all of them have been faded. Now the hammer knows what his soul was searching for so many days.
We are composed in the form of God, to have a relationship with him. In this regard, our souls will get complete satisfaction. Before knowing God, there must have been many wonderful experiences in our life, but we have not experienced that "tacking the nail" . We have been used for many good deeds, but not for the sake of which we have been created, which can give us satisfaction and fullness. Saint Augustine briefly told it in such a manner, "You (God) have created us for yourself and our heart remains disturbed till it rests in your shelter."
A relation with God is the only way that can quench the thirst of our soul. Jesus said, "I am the bread of life: he who comes to me will never be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty." Until we know God, we are hungry in life and You are thirsty. To eradicate our hunger and thirst, we try to "eat" and "drink" all kinds of things, but still hunger and thirst do not wither.
We are like that hammer. We do not know how the emptiness and dissatisfaction of our lives, or the lack of fullness, will end? Even among the Nazis' torture camp, only God was full satisfaction to the woman named 'Corey Ten Boom': "The foundation of our happiness was that we knew ourselves hidden in God with Christ. We could have faith in God's love ... our rock, which is more powerful than dark darkness. "
Often when we keep God out of our lives, then we seek satisfaction and fullness in anything other than God, but it does not satisfy us. We are more and more "drinkers" and "drink" , thinking that our problem is solved in "more" but ultimately never satisfied.
Our greatest desire is to know God, to have relations with him. Why? Because we have been made in this way. Have you hit 'nail' till now ?
